What is the best phone for using this app?
On Android, anything supporting Nougat and above should work. On iOS, it works best on the more recent phones.
How do i know if the app is recording?

What is the global device collection?
The Global Device Collection is a map of all locations we have ever received data from on one of our devices.
What is the data explorer?
The Data Explorer allows users to display the metadata and payload details of public data and data they have access to. Each row in the top half corresponds to an individual data packet received from a RedVox device. By clicking one of these rows, the details for that packet are displayed in the bottom half. Click in a row in the bottom half will display details about the particular sensor payload.
What is a redvox report?
A report provides analysis, plotting, and device status over a given time range with reference to a source event origin. Reports are generated for a user selected subset of RedVox sensors they have access to. Report products are user selected as well and include the following figure types:
- Microphone FFT
- Microphone Multires
- Barometer Waveform
- Barometer Multires
- Latency
- Latitude Std
- Longitude Std
- Altitude Std
- Accuracy Std
- Magnetometer
- Gyroscope
- Light
- Accelerometer
What is a Group?
A group is a collection of devices and is generally defined by a bounding box of latitudes and longitudes.
